According to the news website Good.ma, the Marrakech Marjane supermarket sells textbooks where Morocco appears without the Sahara. Customers were surprised on Wednesday to find this kind of books, imported from overseas, displayed on the shelves of the supermarket.
This is not the first time that a Moroccan-based company sells or displays the Moroccan map without the Saharan provinces.
Last December, the company in charge of building the Morocco Mall slapped all Moroccans when it showed on its? official document in English the Sahara cut off? from Morocco. The? Askal Group, shareholder in the Morocco Mall, rectified this glaring blunder a few hours after MWN brought it to the public opinion?s attention.
