The encounter escalated to the point that Heidi's security guard had to intervene, reports say. "He had to physically restrain Seal," the source adds.
While Seal's temper has been widely rumored as a cause of the breakup, it's not clear if this fight or any other incidents pushed Heidi over the edge.
Publicly, at least, the pair insists the separation is mutual and amicable, and Seal even said on Ellen that a reconciliation may happen down the line.

Even though she did not deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan, she served multiple overseas assignments, including South Korea. The Air Force promoted Wolfenbarger to lieutenant general on Dec. 3, 2009. She has held her rank for just over two years.
Gabreski received her promotion to lieutenant general on Aug. 1, 2005, and held her rank for over five years before retiring. Also of note is the length of time Wolfenbarger held the rank of major general, less than six months, while Gabreski held this rank for three years.
When comparing these women to determine who would best represent the Air Force, the individual career progressions do not make sense. Each of the three women has the same level of education, but their service records are vastly different.
